  • It would be nice if it came out on the Channels not on DVDs. My vote is thumbs up though!

  • Those three are very lucky to be alive and hopefully learned a valuable lesson in survival in the open ocean.

  • @cactus743 it was not them who sunk the boat water it was jest a accident they never know that was going to happen

  • i can think of nothing scarier than to be lost at sea. im sorry to say but those three were not very smart, leaving the boat, and trying to "swim for it".

  • @shmuck50 No

  • A little strange that news channel guys found BOTH of them, even though the rescue work had been in progress .

  • @retsehcniw338 Very cool! I'd love to hear about how you got into the Coast Guard!

  • I know that the best advice is to stay with your overturned boat but there was no mention of the searchers having found the boat at any point in this story. Still, even if the boat did ultimately sink, if they'd stayed on it longer, they would have saved up energy for the tough swim later.

  • they just found three that went missing here in palacios found them a week later

  • I know exactly what it's like to bury a casket w/out a body, b/c our family did it after losing my daughter's dad on Sep-11-01.

My daughter wanted to bury the casket; it made no sense to me, I only agreed b/c she wanted to do it.

It was the weirdest funeral I ever attended-and still doesn't feel like closure b/c of no body retrieval.

Ever since, I've wondered if I'll be "lucky" enough to have my body when I die.

I never thought about it until it happened in my family.

  • Great rescue team. Glad you guys didn't give up. Taking your advice too.

  • what a wondrful story with a happy ending, so they made, what a wonderful story with a happy ending, so they made it, what a wonderful story with a happy ending, so they made it, what a wonderful story with a happy ending, so they made it, what a wonderf
