You can't just re-issue current roads as with "bike friendly" lanes without spilling a little blood and getting people hurt (those on the bikes of course). Bikes and cars will never co-exist in harmony without segregated bike lanes.. which is the route Miller SHOULD have taken if he was serious about removing cars from Toronto.

I don't think he has contradicted himself at all. What he cleary has stated is that A. Toronto as a city cannot take an influx of more people. Unfortunately for Toronto, roughly half of the people who immigrate to this country chose to come to Toronto, and he has stated that this isn't realistic. This is not a "racist" or anti "immigrant" point of view. It's fucking ABC common sense!
B. All people and modes have to be considered in vehicular travel.
