I had Down on the Upside on tape. I remember playing this while driving to school. Damn, it was around '99. The same year two kids went on a rampage at Columbine High. Those days were like angry and fast. Life seemed really something great.

My wife and I got to see them on their last tour in '96 at Neu Eisenburg outside of Frankfurt. Hours later we were on the USO party train to Oktoberfest. Still had two mini kegs of some German dunkel beer. Good times.
