This is an example on one of many problems this mp3 player has. You can see it connecting/disconnecting while transferring some songs. A couple of minutes after this video, it plainly aborted the whole transfer. It happens in Windows and Linux.

  • @brownmaine mine (luckily) only has one problem but your right so many problems. my only problem is that it sometimes refuses to turn on i have to try a couple of times

  • what were we watching? syncing, charging, etc

  • mines whenit turns on it shows low battery then turns off and it wont charge

  • Sansa view has had an update though I think, so its much better now.

  • or a zune :) or maybe the sansa Fuze, its smaller, AND works better!!!!! i know, i have the fuze and my sister has the view...mine works WAY BETTER!!

  • sansa view is a piece of crap i own one and its a pain in the a** it has ssooo many problems 1. it act like a computer with a virus it freezes up on its own and 2. on a couple occasions it deleted every single thing i had on it. the list goes on i hate it save your money and get an apple or something

  • Ok, Ok, Ok, I'm sorry that I saw the vid so late and it might be worthless trying to give a suggestion, but if you go into -USB detection- options it could just be the problem of which one of the two options you've got it set on

If you have vista-change to AUTO

if you have XP or something else- change to MSC

Hope this helps you if you havn't yet fixed the problem = )

  • Hi, I to have the 16gb version of the Sandisk Sansa View mp3 player. Have you tried drag and dropping your music, video or image files on your Windows PC. It is a quick way of transporting those files onto your mp3 player.

If your problem still continues, how about purchasing a Micro SD card and putting your files on that. Of which you will then place in the mp3 player.

    Hope it goes well.
