Cindy Mizelle's first (and only) solo artist 12" single from the soundtrack to the 1984 movie "Beat Street". Since then she has evolved into one of the most in-demand singers of popular music as a featured vocalist, and released a self-titled album in 1994.

  • Remember the 80's like it was yesterday, if I picked a decade to live in, the 80's would be on top of my list.

  • yes beat street baby...it was filmed @ the ROXY`S i was there that night roc steady for life. Thanks to all the ppl that made this a part of my life..R.I.P..FROSTY..He died a few yrs ago..and he is still missed..the pop lock master..u just had to be there see us dance. to all those in the RSC much love my braking bro`s

  • @nybornFunk I BELIEVE YOU..1989 - 1996 HIP HOP SCENE IN NYC WAS 2ND TO NONE..HIP HOP IS DEAD..WANNA SEE IT ALIVE.LOOK AT THIS ERA.

  • Hiphop back then knew how to use jazz, rap, funk, r&b, soul, disco, rock to make something. Maybe only dance better now.

Hiphop had messages and revolution. Now no unique sounds.

There would be no Rage Against the Machine if Public Enemy didnt mix rap and metal together.

Money and Music industry screwed up musicianship.

Kinda who people vote down most music:

    souljaboy/justin bieber fans,

    Racist country fans,

    Punkers-

SuperHardcore old school who ONLY like 1type of music

  • It's funny how if I had a choice to visit any period in time, I'd choose the 80's over times like the 1700's, 1800's, or any other period, solely because of how much fun people look like they had back then. Epic times.

  • Beat Street baby!!!!

  • Man I luv dis jam rite here.Like I luv a Public enemy cut.Everything about dis song describes the Movie.I'm frm Bmore and I was rite along wit Hip Hop during dis time.I was in NYC often cuz of fam being up there. So it was nuffin 4 Me to feel da essence in air at thet time & era.Early 80s British walkers,Prokeds,Suede Pumas w/velcro straps.Gold name plates, cazal frames,Alpaca sweater,Sherlock Holmes style Kangol,Lil Lee spining on 1 foot on da Subway train. That's HipHop rite there.

  • @musiclover3928 i agree

  • @luis32789 Oh thanks, But i found a way to get it by converting it on a website. Thanks though.

  • Just to make it simply for you homeboy, this is called "Elektro Funk" a HUGE part of the Hip Hop culture of the 80s.
