Hiphop back then knew how to use jazz, rap, funk, r&b, soul, disco, rock to make something. Maybe only dance better now.

Hiphop had messages and revolution. Now no unique sounds.

Man I luv dis jam rite here.Like I luv a Public enemy cut.Everything about dis song describes the Movie.I'm frm Bmore and I was rite along wit Hip Hop during dis time.I was in NYC often cuz of fam being up there.So it was nuffin 4 Me to feel da essence in air at thet time & era.Early 80s British walkers,Prokeds,Suede Pumas w/velcro straps.Gold name plates,cazal frames,Alpaca sweater,Sherlock Holmes style Kangol,Lil Lee spining on 1 foot on da Subway train.That's HipHop rite there.
