Park Slope apartment fire in Brooklyn 12 23 09.avi

Park Slope Brooklyn 12/23/09 at about 2:30 a.m. there was an all hands fire on 3rd Street near 5th Avenue where a father and his daughter were taken to the hospital with burns. Firefighters from ladder company105,rushed into the building and pulled them out of their burning building .

All 3 of the guys in the windows are in the smoke, breathing it and yet NONE of them are masked up? Come on guys, do some of use need a refresher in products of combustion and the adverse affect they have on us? Yes, this appears to be an overhaul operation but need you be reminded of the hazards of such an operation as well? Anyway, Brooklyn is probably good at putting on fierfighter funerals and explaining to the family, "why daddy isn't coming home anymore". Good luck.
