This is a fun little pattern that I use when warming up. It's a great exercise to work on your shifting as well as mixing up 3 and 5 string arpeggios. Hope you enjoy it. Cheers...

  • I mean, it's like just a piece of the pattern is caught while another parts will be impossible to master, I'm afraid it's not normal... another thing is the time one should take to master a pattern... some guys I know use to practice for like six hours along, and I just look lazy compared to them, I rarely spend more than three hours... which made understand that we must focus a specific exercise, otherwise that will take forever to be learnt. Hope my example is a tip for other beginners ;)

  • @RammsCarvalho Just stay positive and you'll get it. Some parts are always going to be trickier than others. Just because it's all the same speed throughout doesn't mean it's going to be of equal difficulty. Some shapes are harder than others, so don't worry. Anyway, keep at it and I'm sure you'll get it. Keep on shredding. Have a great day. Cheers...

  • My major problem always was and still is avoiding to pick when I actually am supposed to do either a hammer-on or a pull-off... have to practice that...

  • @RammsCarvalho Just stick with it and you'll get it. The key to playing anything at a fast speed is practicing slow and keeping it slow until everything is perfect. Speed will come naturally. Anyway, thanks for dropping by and checking out my video. I hope you enjoyed it. Have a great day. Cheers and SHRED ON!!!

  • Hey you are good..I try to copy your step but it seem like I not getting it at all ...

I dont know where to start from...Anyway you have done a good job ...

  • @mpeakay Hey there.... Thanks for the kind words about my playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Practice things slow and build your speed from there. Keep on rockin. Have a great day. Cheers...

  • Ur in a band right? No one has a Marshall half stack unless they are in a band. XD

  • you should consider doing the whole sweep in the beginning at your comfortable speed so people know what they're getting into ;p

    nice video, cheers.

  • Here I am bothering again, but while I was here trying to make something of a decent sweeping I came across some observations that are bugging me for a while: one is that the act of practicing repetitively a given pattern has the same effect of repeating a word so that it seem to lose its sense, so when it happens to a scale, it becomes easier to make mistakes and that's sad. Another problem is when only half a scale is correctly learnt whereas another part remains a bitch. is it mind over body?

  • @454pushrod Thanks for the support and for taking the time to watch and comment on my video. I'll try to get some new videos out soon. Have a great day. Cheers...

  • Great lesson, thanks for taking the time and explaining how to play these incredible arpeggios! I look forward to more of your video lessons.

    Thank You,

    chris

  • @sum0f1 Who cares. Music isn't a sport. I'm not trying to be the best so called guitarist. I play because I love to. Besides there's always going to be someone better than you. I can accept that. Can you?
