No it's Minnesota. Michigan is a bunch of hockey wannabes. They don't even get 3000 fans for the state championship. St. Paul, MN sells out an NHL arena, 19,000+ fans. Hmm, I wonder who is the real hockeytown?

@ryenomite1 The State of Hockey? Minnesota. Warroad, MN, had a hockeytown sign up over 50 years before Detroit. The only thing Detroit has going is getting a bunch of players from overseas to play for their pro team so they can feel good about themselves and pretend they are a hockey town. Sell out the Joe for a HS game and you can be in the same realm as St. Paul.

What isn't from Minnesota tends to come from the east coast.

You can brag all you want about your Michigan hockey, all of your good players in Mass come from AAA anyways.

If you want a challange, come join the east coast schools.

If you want a SERIOUS challange, go join the Minnesota schools.
