@vanderbilt887 Probably it was Erwin who was shot in that dark, alcoholic night, and Anton took his place.. that would explain why today's theoretical physics is such a mess, :)

@CaptainBluebear08 From "A CD Discography of the Great Conductor" (Donald Clarke): Arlecchino ARLA 34 ('The Art Of Jascha Horenstein Volume 1') contained Webern's Five Orchestral Pieces Opus 10 and Schoenberg's Transfigured Night and the Chamber Symphony No. 1, all described as a broadcast from April 1964 with the Sudwestfünk Baden-Baden; in fact Arlecchino had pirated the Webern performance with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra, from the same 1972. . . Not that I care, just interesting.

That's the CD indeed, but I got it legally in a library. So I borrowed the thing and copied it. That's now years and years ago--so I surely can't recall those data you mention, as I did NOT photocopy the booklet.
But the sound quality always struck me as pretty good for 1964, and I thought that it had far more likeness to early 70's recs indeed.
Thanks for commenting.
