Mario Kart Wii Retro Track Comparison - SNES/GBA To Wii

This is a comparison of the two Super Nintendo tracks and the two Game Boy Advance tracks which were included in Mario Kart Wii. It shows one lap of each track, first the original version and transitions to the Wii edition.

The sound is slightly delayed in a couple of the clips, but it is no problem with a video like this.

And yes, I realize I have no skill at Super Mario Kart Super Circuit. It has been years since I have really played either one, and I can tolerate no longer their slippery controls.

Funny, on Shy Guy Beach (Or whatever it's called) the lap magically changes from 1 to 2. Messed up on the resto f the lap, perhaps? Great video.

You are right. I got hit by a cannonball. I guess I could have left it in for comedic purposes, but... didn't seem like the best idea.

If you want my opinion, I think they should release a Track Pack for Mario Kart Wii. I would imagine it having a lot more retro tracks. I would love to play Mario Circuit 2 with Birdo.

It's kinda odd, actually, that both SNES tracks come from the flower cup while they are in the first and last cup of the wii.

I noticed if you turn your hear/screen sideways at 1:27, the track is shaped like Pi.
