  • i dont believe thats a diesel..if its moddded to over 600 horse then it would pour out black smoke..

  • First, this is a diesel. Second, we have tubes on the exhaust to expel the fumes outside, so you wouldn't see it from this angle. But there wasn't as much smoke as you might think. Black smoke is wasted fuel and energy. The next step to cleaning it up even more would be with nitrous as Banks is doing with their Project Sidewinder Duramax. That produces about 1000 hp and has almost no smoke whatsoever. Pretty cool stuff!

  • that is pretty cool. where is the exhaust located then?

  • The exhaust is located right where it normally is... we just have a hose attached to the exhaust tip when we are making a dyno run so we don't get smoked out from all the exhaust fumes.

  • torque?

  • 632.3 hp and 1167.9 ft-lbs of torque to be exact.

  • did you have to do anything to your frame to handle the power??

  • If you want something with power while flipping burgers, I'd say get something lighter and fix it up. Maybe a Vega or an inline 6 Mustang. It'd be easier on gas and more unique than a 350 pickup. Just my 2 cents (with inflation 21).

  • lol if your flippin burgers get something more economical ..you will thank yourself in the long run ..more money for college, girlfriend ..etc. the 350 as it is is already a gas guzzler adding much of anything to it and you will be spending your entire weeks pay just getting to work and back.

  • you obv dont know anything about cars.. a blower is totally different than a supercharger.did you look that stuff up on google?

  • Put a blower on it. Supercharger that is for all you motorhead slang hatin people. It is the best thing you can do for horsepower. The worst for your wallet. If u do, the motor needs port and polished, Dish style pistons, forged and hardened crank, bigger cam, roller lifters and rockers, bigger head ports, etc. I could go on for a while listing all the things to get maximum ponies out of a blower, the main thing is the bearings and oil viscosity along with the pistons.

  • load 10lbs to a gasser and the son-of-bitch will barely move!

  • heads, intake, bigger fuel system to start.

  • how much money you think ud have to sink into a truck to get another 250-359 horsepwoer on it ??? best bang for the buck, im just a kid flippin burgers, im pickin up a 1981 gmc half ton shrotbox and im guna do the 350, what should i do for power ??
