They have Tropicana Light & Fit, or I think they changed the name from Light & Fit to something else so you will have to check it out...but it has tons less sugar than regular orange juice...I drink it fine all the time but you just wanna make sure with your nutritionist first before you start drinking it. :o)
Great video and answers Sarah. I STILL want to drink with meals -- that was/is the hardest thing--and I did practice before my surgery-- didn't help much. In restaurants I order water just to have something there so the waitress doesn't keep asking me what I want or "are you sure you don't want something?" but I don't drink it. I can drink faster now that I am 5 mos. post-op but in the beginning I had to go very slow with everything.
Here here cheers to finding youtube to do research of wls..If it wasn't for yt I wouldn't of ever found such a heartfelt wonderful group that I did, like yourself.. Whom became apart of my family in more ways than 1..Awhh Research my brain backed up on overload for sometime it's all I could think about & loss sleep over, til I disattached myself for awhile, but I can't stay away from youtube for long because withdrawls kick in. Anyways enough of my blahing Great video tag & response..Hugs

I agree with the not being able to drink and eat and chugging drinks,, I miss those things too and have found that very hard to get used to..

No citrus or acid anything. That includes lemon, tomato, pineapple, orange, grapefruit. Not in juice or as whole fruit. Not even canned fruit.

I only take a sip every three minutes. I take too big of a sip and sometimes feel too bloated but oh well...

I'm a "chugger" too. Everytime I chug my water, I think about how I'm not going to be able to do that after surgery... :o(
