Can u pick the Obama supporters here...yeah I can too. Im embarrassed for them. And also for Powell, he should be ashamed of himself, but has not got the class to be so. Why did I expect any better?

listedmaverick10033,
Powell should be ashamed for himself that betrayed Rep. Party. In his heart he knows well that John McCain has more experience than Obama. Cool guy Obama who changed his economic plans and numbers every week, which did not make any sence to me.

Please. The Republican Party should be ashamed of forcing such a strong and intelligent individual away. If we had listened to Powell in the first place, we could have avoided war. Instead Bush asked him to go to the UN and endorse the war, and it was Powell's own loyatly that caused him to comply. Its a sign of the sickness within the party that causes good men like Powell to leave. Stop following the neocons and get back to what makes your party worth trusting.

This is a problem that people believe Bush wanted the Iraqi war. This is the failed American intelligence agency, which provides wrong information to the executive office. Powell was the one who argued that Iraqis had carried nuclear weapons (I hope you remember that). The Bush administration wanted to make sure CIA had the authentic report on Saddams intentions, and the agency signed twice before state of the Union(February 2003). Then CIA director George Tenet resigned.

That's the thing. Publicly he supported his president. Privately he objected to the war, but was essentially asked to fall in line. Which he did, in what I suspect was misguided loyatly to a poor leader.

Are you claiming Bush woke up and said I want a war? I hope you understand how government works. What would you do if you were president? I as the senior intelligence officer, telling you that your country is in danger. You must act quickly, if not 300 million people will be dead in a couple of months. You are responsible for the country and 300 million people. You have two choices... give up the country or defend it.
Which one would you choose?

Yo, dumbshit!!! You replied this to someone who was an Obama supporter.

You have to read more than the *first* line in someone's post. Note that the ">" precedes quoted material.
