In this video, Al Tkatch is documenting (with a Nokia N95 mobile cameraphone)
April Smith livestreaming an interview with Ryan Jarman who graciously consented to an interview done for Fearless City Mobile W stories Phase 2 for the Heart of the City Festival in Vancouver.

Ryan Jarman is releasing his first CD in January and is well received by the audience members wishing to know more about his music and guitar. Ryan makes people laugh and plays excellent guitar! Fearless City was privy to exclusive sneak peek into Ryan Jarman's life, thoughts and music!

Thanks to the mobile technology of livestreaming, Ryan Jarman and our mobile team were able to provide our audience out there this opportunity to see this rare and exciting event :)

This interview was broadcasted onto the mobile screen which was at the Ukranian Hall in Strathcona area of Vancouver during the Heart of the City Festival and also onto our website www.fearlesscity.ca

As team leader of this peer learning experience and group, April peer trains Al and Susan and helps facilitates the process of learning the mobile technology in accordance with LiveCast software being used and makes sure to keep the image on the HTC Touch cameraphone of the interview nice and steady. April keeps in mind in what the mobile audience is seeing and takes care to self adjust and relates to the audience as much as possible.

During the interview with Ryan, April uses text messaging on a mobile cameraphone to stay in touch with the mobile screen animateurs to communicate audience's questions and ideas to the interviewer and guest. She uses SMS and MMS on the phone to also take cues and direction from the screen animateurs to pay attention to certain things such as camera angles.

The audience members who texted in their questions, providing great 2-way multimedia communication, we were able to text back their answers quickly and easily and enabled everyone to build community and communication capacity. Ryan Jarman was able to receive instant feedback and also be able to answer the questions of interested audience members that loved his music!

April in a peer training role to this team, sits behind the HTC touch camera making sure the LiveCast Livestreaming is working and helps coordinate a smooth interview process with much encouragement to Susan and Al for their great hard work and through demonstration and ample awareness of each team member, all members of the team peer train and peer learn from each other about mobile technology through the Fearless City Mobile Project
