Boston Charles River Race 26th April 2009. 19-mile race including 6 urban portages. Longest one 800m. Many departures for different categories. Hence the plastic boats shown at one portage are from a different start!!! A very scenic race with blossom and swans. Recommend a kayak that can handle a few knocks from trees and lamp posts...
