VO52 ham satellite - my first time

this is my first time i set my TS2000 on the SAT-mode to work a satellite.
Unfortunatly my short vertical X30 antenna can't get enough signals, smeter is died, so I guess my transmission is not enogh strong too to make a contact.
Infact nobody seem to hear me when I call.
Anyway I enjoyed my first experience even if I can only receive, I 've never seen a satellite operation from my radio before.
I need time to learn how to do better, and I have to change my antenna for sure.

Buona la prima, ma ti consiglio di tentare di riascoltare il tuo segnale in cw, facendo tanti puntini, sgancia il vfo delle uhf e ruota la manopolina in alto a dx. Poi devi sfruttare le orbite base che non superino i 30-40 gradi. Il lobo di radiazione della verticale è schiacciato. Tenta ancora.

@mysputniktv grazie! ma purtroppo non conosco nessuno personalmente che puo' insegnarmi la tecnica dei satelliti, quindi ho cercato di fare tutto da solo ma ancora non ho capito bene cosa e come devo fare...

poi tra l'altro non ho antenne idonee....

magari piu in la con il tempo..

Bellissimo video !

Ma fai attenzione ad una cosa ....quando giri il vfp di entrambe le frequenze in funzione "sat" devi aggingere la funzione "trace r " in modo che la frequenza di tx salga e rx scenda per l'effetto doppler......owero su vo-52 quando sali sui 145.920, scendi su 435.200.......forse questo era il motivo del tuo non "passare" sul sat. Che antenna usi ????? Sentiamoci via e.mail per confronti
