Thank The Lord for Steeleye Span, and for the breakthrough resurrection they achieved in the 70s in bringing forth a return of a modern-era widespread admiration & respect for this fantastic kind of folk-rock music.  "Folk" basically means "of the people" .. denoting a celebration of a society's heritage & traditions & life-values, built-up over time. Maddy's lovely, pure voice here, sounds as grand & sweet as the great Judith Durham's (of The Seekers fame) .. a well-deserved compliment.

What really bugs me is that he claims to be very interested in buddhism which has some rather interesting things to say about ignorance and hate the dumb jackass

Just saw them live at Preston Guild Hall two nights ago and as brillant as ever .The short medley of medieval carols was excellent
