  • Is it realy Scottish? It sounds so nice!

  • @Qwerti60 It really is Scottish :-) Thanks for the comment :-)

  • I didn't know that Scottish music can be as beautiful as Irish Celticm music

  • @Qwerti60 I'm pleased that you've now learnt something that will be a great asset to you in the future. Seriously I hope you will listen to a few of the tunes I posted and some other folk who post good traditional Scottish music - and they are not all Scottish. Thanks for your note. :-)

  • I heard Scottish music and as Folk music it's nice as Romanian Folk music. But this music isn't Folk and it's on the level of Irish Celtic music.

    Good to know that there is good music besides Irish Celtic

  • @Qwerti60 Perhaps you might think that the posting of this same musician "There's Irish in the Islands" is Folk music. It would be interesting to know what you think is different. Traditional Irish Music is Folk Music and Traditional Scottish Music is also Folk Music and both are examples of Celtic Music ( as are Manx, Welsh, Breton and Galician/Asturian) There are many aspects of folk music within these broad categories and I hope you will learn more about them in due course.

  • fergie is one of the greats. thanks

  • Celtic music is not the property of the Irish people, and I glad that I found something Celtic which is not Irish

  • @Qwerti60 I'm sure you are a nice person and mean well but you appear to be trying to add more confusion on top of you own confused categories. :-}

  • All the Irish and Scottish styles are Folk styles. But I destinguish between the Folk Style and Celtic style. Celtic style is more modern style with more wind instruments and Folk is Old style music with more string instruments and accordeons
