Chaz Bono threatens to sue the National Enquirer over claims that his weight, stress, and the medications and issues associated with his gender reassignment, could increase the likelihood of an early death. Patrick Wanis PhD responds with a personal message to Chaz heeding him to take action about his health, surround himself only with people that really care and beware of Hollywood's parasites.

Oh yeah I saw that in the store today. I don't know what happened or anything, but it said something about him not being able to stand up. I'm going to assume that's a bit of an exaguration, since I don't really subscribe to that kind of stuff. Still though that dude needs to loose some weight! It's so unhealthy to be that size. I'm transgendered too so me and my mom were talking about how he's only like two inches taller than me and weighs over 100 pounds more than me! Only in America. :P

Hey uh, "Dr" Wanis, it seems you have overlooked the fact that "Chaz" Bono is a female, who underwent medical manipulation to make it look like she is a male, but you apparently have forgotten that. Perhaps "Dr" Wanis is busy playing the "sympathy" card that is so necessary to be in Hollywood limelight, thus using "he" and "him" when referring to a "she". Where exactly did you get your PhD, anyways.

The National Enquirer should not be considered a trustworthy sources. Dr. Wanis, on the other hand is. Trust in Dr. Wanis' advice here. Please seek help and treatment, it would be sad to lose another Bono too soon.

Dr. Wanis is saying what many of us are thinking and have probably seen on our own but have not been able to say. He is not attacking Chaz but is trying to sound the alarm that if not treated, there are some serious health issues which Chaz will most likely be facing if no action is taken to treat them. I would consider the source of the claim.

Maybe the big difference is that an Australian cares and just says what they see because they want to help? That's their straight-shooting style. That's why our tough guy actors come from England or Australian. Unfortunately too many pseudo-news organizations just want to start a cat fight and turn masculine care into something abusive. There's also too many American "experts" out there acting like they care but they really just want money and headlines through hurting others. Big difference!

Chaz is under a microscope now, as you point out, and that's incredibly hard. I can't imagine how difficult it is to grow up in entertainment where so many takers exist, willing to destroy a human being for profit, as the Enquirer and so many others seem to do.

I get you're showing the caring masculine look at the tough truth. Chaz lost his father quite young, grew up in entertainment, and who really cares? Hopefully Chaz could meet you in person as see you care about him as a person.
