RSMV - Tourniquet

Explanation/Storyline:
I think that the song Tourniquet is a very meaningful song, that each person needs to find there own meaning too. The main concept behind a Tourniquet is a device used to cut off the blood flow between two places in the body, primarily used in surgery. In the song, there are many lyrics that are self-explanatory, such as I tried to kill the pain, but only brought more, And bleeding, Am I too lost. All of these giving strong meanings, from what I got from the song was that the person feels cut off from there heart, (return to the definition of a Tourniquet), and they wish that there Tourniquet maybe returned, to save there life or someone else. Nonetheless its a very complex and strong song, extract any meaning from it, and enjoy the video.

Behind Tourniquet:
I started this video in early July, my main reason was because I thought it was a good and interesting song. But as I was in the making of the song, or till I started working on it a lot (about early September), I began to realize the true meaning of the song and how powerful it really was. I didn't really apply that powerful meaning in the video, I may have added a more darkening tone with the effects like how the song is but other than that I didn't really add a meaningful visual to go with the audio. But in regards to that I did try really hard on the video, so please be kind. This video took me a little bit over five months to fully complete it. I had several problems with the finishing of this video To clips not showing up in my folders, forcing me to re-do them, then I had rendering problems and in my attempt to fix the rendering problems I completely ruined my video by renaming all the files. But than I found a solution to that and I had to manually name each clip to its previous name.

A:That would be the prayer book, you can get it from the quest the great brain robbery.

A: They are Dorgesh-kaan sphere's they can be acquired by completing the Another slice of H.A.M. quest.

A: A Jar Generator you can receive it from Zarnis in the middle were the crop circle is, and talk to the rewards person.

A: The emote is from the Great Brain Robbery quest... In order to do the emote you cannot complete the quest, when you are in the house of the infected island... if you leave without protection, the result is that emote.

Where do you get all the effects for like the clouds, sunsets, storms, castles, and that ancient chapel looking thing at the end? Is it all stock footage, or hand created in another program, or something?

@InvokedFury Most of it is just gotten from images passed along by friends. Girochen gave me most of the sunsets, clouds, castles, along with the chapel at the end, the lightning I got from Girochen as-well. But they were all just images that I edited into those things. The ending was an animation that Girochen had, not sure how he made it. =/ Sorry.

I love your Rsmv's. Your Editing  is beautifully done, every clip, matching the song perfect, the lighting, and everything is just perfect. You do a lot of work for your videos, and Appreciate the video extremely well. Also, you understand the song. You'll give a description of it's meaning and message, and that adds to the greatness of your videos. I wish more people understood that rsmv makers go through a ton of effort to bring us their videos. for that i thank you.

For me, I tried to kill the pain (of people being horrible to me) but only brought more by trying to be someone I wasn't. Am I too lost, as in am I really trying so hard to be someone I'm not that I forgot who I really am?

Actually the song is about suicide, I say this not to make myself feel more intellegent, but because I recall the writer, Amy Lee, commenting on the fact that although she did right this song and it does have deep personal roots she is not suicidal. Fun fact I suppose for anyone who cares. I think your conception of the song was really interesting and I never thought of it that way before, good video, lool.
