On one hand they make it very clear they're against organized religion, yet clearly endorse the bible itself (which, of course, is chock full of requirements for religion BEING organized.) Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I broke from Christianity. It was apparent that the preachers didn't know about spirituality any better than I did, so why should I follow?

For that matter, what makes me think I'm any better at it than them? None of it can be proven.

Yet despite the fact that we are all equal, there are the saved and there are the damned in their line of thinking. This made about as much sense to me as curing the disease by killing the patient.

I like to be open minded too and learn stuff from various cultures and religions

(I'm doing cultural studies right now)

My problem starts when these people come with a "Holier than Thou" attitude.

Condemn everything that's different from what they perceive as Normal.

Refuse to listen to others (hence they stay stupid)

Love to put restrictions on others but not to themselves (double standards).

And in the end display even worse habits than those they condemn and are too stupid to realize that.
