Part two of a film based off of Douglas Coupland's book Jpod that I created with some friends from school, for a class. (Note some minor changes from the novel)

There are minor sound problems that I am aware of.

One part to follow as well as bloopers and making of reel.

Starring:
Andy Nichols as Ethan
Shaun Doiron as John Doe
Adam Fraser as Cowboy
Luke Moilliet as Mark
Melanie Long as Kaitlin
Sharice Whyte as Bree
Jeff Chan as Steve
Jamie Hobbs as Coworker

  • this is so great! it proves to me that other people read this book and loved it too. keep up the great work.

    ps your cowboy is hot.

  • Thanks! I did love the book. :)

Funny thing about that is he is now my boyfriends roommate and I live with them haha.

  • Is it just me, or at the end, is Melanie reading her lines off of a script that's hidden behind the barrier of the desk?

  • Unfortunately we were running out of time, and the line was really hard--it was the best shot I had at the end.

Obviously not something I would let happen in future projects.

    :)

  • Cancelled by the CBC. No season two (along w/ MVP).

  • Really? wow, I only ever watched the first episode.

  • lol you cut out all the swear words

  • i don't agree.

i am watching this regardless of whether there is a CBC version (which i haven't seen)

  • I'm not filming this anymore it was a one time project for a class in school. It was my first film I've ever done, I am planning to create more and obviously based on my own creativity. Also, this is not all directly from the book some of the scenes were original. I did not put this up to get hits or however some may see it, I put it up for the people I know that wanted to see it.

  • This isn't going anywhere. I'd stop filming, and start working on something original. Jpod on CBC is great, you have to remember that Coupland isn't the only one working on it.Come up with your own nerd humour, it couldn't be too hard to do. Its exciting to see people trying to adapt their interests to a great novel, but if you want people to watch your videos, you have to create something. And yes I am aware you did this before you understood Jpod was going to be an actual show.
