Awesome map by Dr.Zin again! This map is a tremendous long and tough large level with plenty of tricky areas. Despite what it may seem to some of the viewers, this map is *very* hard to speedrun in my opinion. It has several nasty rooms where you are surrounded and you must either play reckless trying to safe your back the soonest possible, or to slow a bit down to ensure your return home in one piece... and it's quite long!
The first troubles may arrive with the lava area where the yellow key is placed; since you've to return there, I cleared just a part of the enemies there and let the cacos gather around the exitway for a better clearing. Getting the blue key isnt any better, There's no BFG and limited space to escape revenants and mancubus everywhere.. Before the final spiral path to climb up the mountain, there are 2 cybies to frag with just plasma gun; there I actually risked a LOT by circle strafing 2 close to the spot where the second rocket-boy was about to appear.. but well, all went fine :P
I humbly think I managed almost perfectly both the spiral and the last area with the fair amount of weapon given in the end, and trust me they can be deadly if something goes wrong or isn't properly planned in advance. once again infact, you get attacked from every side, and in the higher part of the climb, with plenty of spiders around, you'd best not to stay too long in the same place.
Credits for the route, goes for the most to justanotherfool the holder of the previous DSDA record in 21:53. I had twice a single monster missing here, lost either in the lava pool at beginning or at the spiral before the end, then an early 21minute run. This is my second valid exit, sub 20' can be done, I'd guess to be a bit faster in the blue key area maybe, but I'll leave it for whoevers is willing to try it out for now.

Some interesting note.. I was rather curious about the map name, and I found out that "Huitzilopochtli" comes from the Aztec mythology. Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec god of war, was associated with the sun. His name, which means "hummingbird of the south," came from the Aztec belief that the spirits of warriors killed in battle followed the sun through the sky for four years. After that, they were transformed into hummingbirds. In some myths, the warlike Huitzilopochtli appears in contrast to his brother the god Quetzalcoatl, who represented life and the gifts of civilization. According to legend, Huitzilopochtli's mother was the goddess Coatlicue. One day she found a bunch of hummingbird feathers and stuffed them into her breast. She immediately became pregnant with Huitzilopochtli. However, some of her other children -a daughter named Coyolxauhqui and 400 sons- were jealous of the unborn child. They plotted to kill Coatlicue, but when they attacked her, Huitzilopochtli emerged from his mother's womb fully grown. He cut off the head of his sister and killed most of his brothers as well.
The Aztecs believed that to nourish Huitzilopochtli and keep the world in motion, they needed to feed the god human blood every day. For this reason, Aztec priests conducted daily human sacrifices at the Great Temple in their capital city of Tenochtitlán. During these rituals, victims were led up the steps of a pyramid, and while they were still alive, their hearts were cut out of their chests. The victims' bodies were then thrown down the steps of the pyramid onto a stone that featured a carved image of Coyolxauhqui. In this way, the sacrifices reenacted the story about the young god killing his sister.

ps: Quetzalcoatl was also the name used for the thunder elemental Esper/Summon/Aeon/Guardian in final fantasy saga. It was previously called "Ramuh" like the fans may remember from the oldest (and most beautiful imho) rpg games of the old consoles, NES and SNES, and had instead the aspect of an old man holding a rod holding the power of lightnings.

extra: You tube "Matched third party content." concerning this, I wanna state I made no changes to the original music used by the map's author. The midi it's a selfmade or selfconverted version.
Straight up blastin fools nice!

Don't mind that third party content, this thing popped up in my hr2 map12 with that broken-down car midi, which is, by all means, bullshit.

You still havn't done CC1 map29? Oh well, the coming maps are relatively large, but are fun. Map26 Ruby Abyss have a final battle which is challenging with 2 cyberdemons fights, like the one in PL2 map30. And map22, very limited ammo.

@daiyuxiaoxiang wellll... NOBODY could or wanted to make cc1 map29 actually. That level is definitely speedrunning-unfriendly! I barely remember all of its utterly traps and rooms in that huge level. once im done with cc3 Ill dedicate some time to it untill I give up like Qaatar did probably *sigh
and yea you remember pretty well each map ;) Ive finished recording both map26 and 22, the first gave me some troubles indeed in the last fight. I'm currently uploading map21 btw. Thanks for feedback!
