In amateur hands the Cayman S would certainly be quicker than your 911, especially with my spec of PASM, 19" tyres and sports chrono. Sorry, but well-publicised and true. 996's/997's are fantastic but sometimes development can only go so far. 993's were the pinacle for the 911 range. Cayman S is a better car, believe me.
