  • does it have the thinklight?and antiglare screen??

  • @makaveli559m been waiting for a thinkpad ultrabook for a while now, hope they get the screen right on launch

  • @brendanarnold alright, maybe i wasn't paying enough attention to the guys pitch :p but i surely ain't opening my wallet if there is no 1600x900 matt screen on a t series thinkpad...

  • 21mm, isn't that the same thickness as the 0.83" 2 year old t410s?

  • @rebelnumba2

    Thinkpad X1 I believe.

  • @betterman257

I heard that there are shortages of higher resolution screens that is why they are using the 1366 x768 ones. But yes with a high price what you pay for those suckers you think they would have a high resolution screen of some type.

  • just get rid of the glossy screen & keyboard and it will be a superb machine.

  • @betterman257 This will have a matt screen (thankfully) - the guy said so in his pitch, plus its mentioned in some other reports. This here is just the prototype hence the glossy.

  • I really hope there will be a T430 that's not "u" (ultra)... 'cause I despise a laptop without CD Tray....

That would be a netbook... not a laptop. Hate the glossy.. hate the resolution. I want retro illuminated keys on the T series!... As the X1... And oh... I would love a detachable screen too :)

  • very nice design. but screen has to be better- higher resolution and contrast ratio. after all it's the crucial part of laptop
