Manuel Omeirat Charr born on the 10th of october 1984. Place of birth: Beirut / Lebanon, entered the Republic of Germany in 1989. The reason I started with martial arts as a kickboxer in 2001 at a little private school in Essen was my cousin Jusef Ramadan. Three months later I entered a professional camp at Master-Gym in Duisburg. This was the beginning of my career as a Thai kickboxer with my coach Jusef Ramadan and my manager Klaus Waschkewitz. Additionally, I went to the amateur boxing union BC.erle.49 e.V. in Gelsenkirchen. List of successes: Thai boxing - 2003 German champion in Muay Thai from MTBD - "Killerdom" -- winner 2003 in Amsterdam -- 2005 German champion of WPKL in Thai boxing -- 2005 I.K.B.O. European champion Fight records: 17 fights / 16 victories / 13 knock outs / 1 revival Success at BC.erle.49 e.V. Teutocup 2002 - federal state champion 2003 -- Westphalia champion 2004 -- West German champion 2004. My last amateur boxing fight was on 17th February in 2005, a knock out Victory in round two against Matthias Bernd. My first league fight was for BSK Seelze. My path as a professional kickboxer: In 2005, my success as a kickboxer led me to join the training camp at the Max-Schmeling gym in Berlins Olympic stadium. Since May 2005, I have been working as a professional boxer for "Sauerland-stall" under the care of coach Ulli Wegener, who has successfully coached boxers such as Sven Ottke, Markus Beyer and Arthur Abraham turning them into world champions. Since then, I have fought 7 professional fights of which I have won 4 through knock outs. I have been a sparring partner for professional boxers such as Nikolai Valuev, Alexander Povetkin and John Ruiz. Until 2007, I was under contract at Sauerland Event in Berlin. A very important and successful time for me due to my ex Coach Ulli Wegener and my ex manager Wilfried Sauerland. In 2008 I changed to the Universum Boxing Union in Hamburg, my new management includes Peter Kohl and Dietmar Poswa. Currently, I am boxing for Universum and Spotlight-boxing. I am very thankful that I am allowed to work under the care of Fritz Sdunek who has successfully coached the Klitschko brothers. He is very encouraging and assists me to become just as successful as I was at Sauerland Events. I follow a path where I am always confronted with new challenges, nevertheless, my goal of becoming the heavyweight champion of the world is always in sight. Why "Diamondboy"? In greek, the word diamond is "Adamos" meaning invincible. Hence the term Diamondboy, I am unbreakable like a diamond -- unbeatable but also charming. Equally, I am polite but serious. However my main strenghts are my honesty and trustworthiness. Young, dynamic, strong! Simply Unmistakable!
