Lo hice con el propósito que conozcan el verdadero Gothic Metal, hoy en días hay muchas bandas de este género pero algunas no conserva la esencia otros si, esta es una pequeña parte de algunas bandas que aun siguen siendo los mejores de su género que aun conversa la característica del Gothic Metal...

@Epica124 I agree about Leaves Eyes, but Af is not only symphonic prog metal (since mark left). It has gothic elements. Ins not pure gothic metal but a mix of its elements plus prog and symphonic. (sorry if i dont speak well, i am not used to talk in english)

Oh you were doing so good until you threw in After Forever and Leaves Eyes. If you go by Af's first two CD's it's close to Gothic Metal. From Invisible Circles It's all Symphonic prog metal. Though even there first two CD's at many points lack the Gothic metal sound. Leaves Eyes is is a mix of Symphonic and Folk metal.

Hay que recordar que Moonspell no se están dentro del puro Gothic, porque de igual manera la influencias Doom lo marcan.
La mejor banda de esa lista sin duda.

@LordAngst Si creelo en una entreviste el habla de su música y destaca que su genero es el gothic y hablo que banda como Epica, Within, etc. No saben mucho de gothic
