This is a wahoo 2 cycle moped I found on craigslist. when I bought it, it wasnt running very well. I had to stick a screwdriver in the carb to keep it running. Because it is one of those chinese mopeds, it seemed almost impossible to find parts for it. Even some of the online stores that sell parts for these bikes didnt have any parts for this one because its a 2 stroke moped which is even less common. I finally found a link to a parts website using http://xbump.com which was purely by accident because xbump is a website that allows people to advertise their website by adding a link for free so all of the links are random and I just happened to run across this. I found website that had the J-hose that I needed. I also had to replace a few feet of gas line because I am assuming the previous owner left gas in it over the winter. Now I have got it completely fixed up and working perfectly. Currently it has about 1,900 miles on the odometer and the only thing that doesnt work is the gas guage which I am not even going to bother to fix because I have already spent enough money fixing this thing and I dont want to spend any more. Besides, I can just flip the seat open and look in the gas tank, so its not like I'm really missing anything. As far as chinese mopeds go, this one is ok mostly because it is a 2-cycle moped so it is naturally less prone to overheating which is a major issue with most chinese mopeds. I am keeping an eye on this thing though because it has a 2-stroke oil injector that automatically injects the 2 cycle oil into the system so I dont have to mix, then pour, I can just put straight gas in the tank. However if the injector quits working, I think that would cause some major issues. Chinese mopeds have a bad rap, mostly because parts are nearly impossible to find because they were mostly produced as an item to sell and thats it.. there are no dealership networks like there are for honda, vespa, and yamaha so you are pretty much on your own after you buy it. Luckily for me, i have a mechanical background and was lucky enough to find a website that had the parts that I needed. I say lucky because these chinese mopeds are produced in runs per distributor request so there are about 1,000 different models made by over 100 manufacturers in china, and no 2 models are the same. For any one store to carry all the parts for all the models would be extremely difficult and expensive, if not just plain impossible. If you have a wahoo moped be it a 2 cylcle moped, or just straight gas, you are in luck because apparently that is one of the lines that sold enough bikes for this website to justify carrying parts for it. you can contact me for a link to the online store where I got my parts. I searched for about a week straight and this was the only sight I could find. If you know of any sites that carry parts for this brand, or any other brand of chinese moped or 2 stroke moped, please comment below.
