This is the Charles Ives arrangement.

Allen organs have a transpose button and I bet he hit that instead of the preset button.

was it a mistake or actually intentionally polytonal?
-
@Askelairlines747 haha... I knew there was something wrong with this! I bet that guy felt like a right fool!
-
@ConradReeves my dad knows someone who knows the organist. apparently he accidentally hit a switch or something which transposed it. i'm not an organ expert but it was something like that.
-
That isn't an Allen organ, and most Allens have a rotary transposer control. Baldwins and Rodgers had the button, and no Baldwin ever made sounded anything like a pipe organ.

Somebody once sent me this recording as an mp3 file. I checked the properties and the file size was 666 KB! Scary!

@ttlms Spot on!

This is parallel to the life of the Messiah!
Starts out OK, then right at the end it dies, only to come back in the end!

Wow--you can't shrug that one off! The amazing thing is that the choir stayed on pitch!

@danielmkubacki I don't know. I just did a Google search for "church organ" and that came up.
