I have my reasons for using this tuning. I know everywhere I look people are using drop D instead but hear me out. On the "RE.....SPECT" part of the song the final chord in that series, on the recording, sound like they have a C# present which is one half a step lower than drop D. Also on the pre chorus, "A lesson learned in life...." there sounds to me like there is an open C power chord in the recording. So. The solution to get the sound of the album is to play it open. That's just my opinion. If you don't want to sound more like the album and work harder for the bend then by all means, stick to drop D!!!
