Grace by Paul Solet 2009
Starring Jordan Ladd

Yes, I did like this. No, I don't think it's cutting edge. My "other half," however, disagrees and says I'm on crack and jaded.

I'm still not sure what's going on with comments. They haven't been disabled, and they are still randomly disappearing.

  • I'm not surprised, I've noticed that the movie going public is easily impressed by things that are a bit out of the ordinary, and think everything is so "edgy". the last Batman is a great example, the Joker was ok, but I'd seen far crazier psychopaths on other media, even TV.

  • I remember all of these scenes perfectly well, but I didn't find them funny. I guess it must be my fault, however. I must just not have "gotten it". That always seems like an odd cop-out, though. Any filmmaker can make something and have a particular intention, then, if it doesn't get the response they intended, just blame it on the audience for not "getting it". I didn't find any comic relief. The closest thing I remember was the grandmother in bed treating the husband like a baby.

  • There is comic relief. The fly in the nose, also the gathering and prep of the meat. In our theater, we all laughed at parts such as those. In the discussion afterward, Paul Solet was commenting on how our group was the first one that "got it" at any of his showings and how fun it was to watch it like that. Hitchcockian comedy. If you ever watch old Hitch interviews he comments on how he'd laugh at the shower scene in Psycho, etc.

  • Ebony and ivory, side by side in perfect harmony...

  • I don't recall any funny parts in this film.

  • Wow, you are dark and light; I like people who're like that.

  • I really liked this flick and if you liked Rosemary's Baby then you will like this.

  • i agree with you. it was a good movie but it was not as great as everyone else says it is. It honestly reminded me a bit of " It's Alive" but i would rather have watched it's alive. Pay no attention to all the negative comments, You can't make everyone happy and besides these vid are what YOU thing and your opinions not what everyone else thinks. Keep up the great work!

  • All lifetime movies are horror movies to me:D might check it out though it sounds like a light verison of the It's Alive movies not the new one but the triolgy from the 70's and 80's.

  • This is very true. It helps with the hype. I can see how this subject matter can be for many.
