1948 Cameron Jet-Agitated Dishwasher

This dishwasher was purchased on ebay. It came with the original Instruction Booklet, and an unopened box of Calgon water softner.

The label on the side of the dishwasher says Manufactured by Cameron Corperation, Cleveland, Ohio.

I was mainly interested in seeing how this thing worked, to I put a few dishes in and started it up. There is a 4-hole sprayer in the lid that spins the basket, and washes the dishes. I stil need to test this unit out before I know the proper way to place the dishes and glasswear for good washability.

  • Wow,Looks more like a Popcorn Popper! Looks good,however!

  • Is this a Portable Dishwasher?

  • I see you have a F&P dishdrawer. I do to. How do you like them?

  • That lid sure looks like 40's Pyrex

  • Waste of time, have another pie man.

  • Interesting dishmachine. I take it the pressure from the hot water line generates the rotation and cleaning action. How well does this wash? BTW my favorite dishwasher is the Hobart AM-14 what is yours?
