When you use packages like "riot gear" and such, people will always give low ratings and bad comments. The only packages I would ever buy are for sfx. My stuff is all made by me. You can always find a tutorial...

@MasonMcw so i did a bit of research on your channel, and you don't have a single tutorial, and you use the shitty presets for every one of you videos and you don't even use them well, your motion tracking is piss poor and you used every special effect preset that after effects has so none of them were made by you and you didn't even use the presets well, i actually build my effects!

yeah, you weren't supposed to take offence to my comment. I only have access to a computer with After Effects on some weekends, not even every weekend. I've only had after effects for a month now, and it's version 6 on a Mac, which I couldn't figure out how to use for a couple of weeks because I'm used to a PC. I don't use motion tracking, my cameras quality is too bad to find one spot and not move from that spot. I dont have any good equiptment that works well. Is it bad to use built in fx? no

yea i agree the real stuff is better but all the effects i have posted are from when i was just figuring out and playing with new programs

Fair enough, dude. Looks good either way.

Though when I want TV noise, I just love using real stuff. It's hard to just make it and keep it looking 'real'

actually that was an effect i built long before i even got riot gear, it started out as a greyscale gradient i warped out and colorized

Right.. it just looks like you took one of the tv noise effects from the riot gear package, added SFX and put it overtop of other video.

yeah you right roit gear has multiple layers of color, fractal noise and sound effects, yeah im sure you know what your talking about
