Women in Islam 20 - Interview with New Converts - 5

Aired on May 1, 2008.
This episode featured two new Muslim converts. One who formerly held a key position in their church community and she is also one of those who participated in the group who made their shahadah last April 27, 2008. Please see video on this channel.

The other embraced is a comeback interview with a sister who embraced Islam last March 30, 2008. She shares her experience being a Muslim for already a month.

Women in Islam is a Filipino-English Language radio broadcast on DWDD 1134Khz in Manila, Philippines every Thursday from 8pm - 9pm. The program deals with Islamic issues concerning Muslim and non-Muslim women. It is a first of its kind Islamic program by women for women who seek to bring a balanced understanding of Islam and features live interviews from women who have embraced Islam.

She did marry a Muslim man who was not practicing. After attending our lectures and taking books that we offered she studied and decided to embrace Islam on her own.

Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make holy war when you meet your enemies, Invite them to accept Islam; If they refuse to accept, demand from them the Jizya (tax). If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them.
