  • as a beginner, its ideal to see short vids like this which break things down one step at a time

  • As a former banjo picker, not bad.

    Actually you seem a very patient teacher type...do you play tenor (4-string) or only the 5-string (of course now they also make six string banjos, but to me what's the point, it still has the unmistakable banjo "ring" but banjo's were meant to be 4 or 5 string.

  • well i just bought a banjo, and iv no experience whatsoever, this is really good for me, i think this dude is great at explaining things clearly. most vids iv looked at skip over too much and leave you guessing. cheers for posting :)

  • I know this is basic stuff but you explain it well, Ive never played music before and was having trouble understanding timing but this explains it well.
