I just talked to my Russian friend of mine last night. I tried to pronounce some Russian words from some of the learning cards I had bought, and he kept on correcting me.

Some of the major obstacles for me:

The knowledge of Cyrillic doesn't guarantee you to know how to pronounce a word. To my disappointment.

I still can never get the difference between hard and soft letters, much less reproduce them.

You're doing a great job.
