Victor; One foot in the Italian Lakes! I don't bloody beleive it!
Must be someone out there with some more Italian pics of Vic or Vic and me at that bar? Let me know as I'd like some copies.
A tour of the Italian Lakes Garda, Como and Maggiore also provided the opportunity to travel into the Swiss mountain resort of Zermatt from where a 40-minute mountain train journey through aromatic Stone Pine and Larch, led to the 3089m higb station of Gornergrat and impressive views of perhaps the most familiar mountain in the European Alps and Switzerland's most famous landmark, the mighty 4,478m Matterhorn.
The rest of the week was spent amongst the crystal waters, lush countryside and towering mountains of Lake Maggiore, the small but deep cobalt blue waters and magnificient mountain, lush garden and grand villa scenery of romantic Lake Como as well as time to explore the ancient fortified town of Sirmione on the southern periphery of Lake Garda, the largest of the Italian Lakes.
Great camera work ... can anyone enlighten me as to the Italian opera the music is taken from (I keep thinking of Verdi's 'Rigoletto'). Looks fantastic thanks for sharing your beautifully captured memories with us YT'ers ...

Will check it for you - but think it was Verdi: Un Ballo In Maschera.
