Hitler and Romney have different types of nationalism, Romney has pride in America as a nation, as a land of opportunity and peace, as a people united by an idea. Hitler had pride in the state and in the people as a race.

He used Christianity for political gain, he did not actually believe any of it. The Nazi Party came out with their own revised Bible, half of the ten commandments in it referred directly to Adolf Hitler. He believed in a sort of monotheistic version of Nordic paganism which was sprinkled around with references to a non-jewish Aryan Jesus which was antithetical to the Christ of the Bible.
