A study by Nationwide Children's Hospital has revealed some interesting facts about children with asthma. Approximately three out of four children diagnosed with asthma are actually suffering from a condition called vocal chord dysfunction (VCD). This condition has similar symptoms as asthma, but very different treatments. A simple breathing test can determine which condition a child has and help them to receive the correct treatment.
