I like watching a bit of trek but do people even care about it i would'nt want to go and see it at the cinema until I heard it was good but i might just pass and w8 until dvd

I heard that Captain Christopher Pike will be part of the story. Sadly that William Shatner won't be in it as older Kirk. I'm really starting despised of J.J. Abrams taking over Star Trek. Rod Roddenberry or Manny Coto or someone else that have a lot experience with Star Trek should continue the franchise not this outsider, J.J. Abrams that never have done a Star Trek production with Gene Roddenberry, Rick Berman, Michael Piller, Jeri Taylor, or Brannon Braga.
