Hi guys!

Heres some classical guitar shredding for you. Influenced by yngwies many live nylon strung solos, especially the G3 one thats just unreal. Yngwie is god!

The guitar is an Ibanez G5ECE Classical Available from Andertons Music for only £126!

  • Great playing. Amazing! But I've got to ask, what's the point of shredding on a nylon string? It is harder than on an electric guitar, and it sounds shit. To me, an acoustic nylon string should be played all acoustic, and classical music suits it the best.

  • @SystemOfTheMastodon

I like the sound of it it sounds great. Its a little difficult to play i guess but it still feels cool. Yes acoustic and classical stuff suits it but you can do whatever you want with it! There aint no rule book!

  • now the thing to do is create your own sound...

  • @drsmith963

Check my new videos dude i dont really do this sort of thing anymore. I have my own sort of thing going on now.

  • Blackstar fail, sorry, but ur a really good player!

  • @benwilshire I'm no fan of shredding, but I totally agree with your final thought - once you lock into the rule book approach and unless you're set on developing just a single style of music and playing, you risk limiting your own potential and imagination.

    An example?

Try John Williams, one of the world's greatest living classical players, who also played with Sky.

Must also say that this upload demonstrates a great range of playing and music styles - not just shredding. Good stuff.

  • j.s. bachs improvisations

  • whats harder more improving you made

  • stop looking at me swan !

  • @benwilshire I think the shred-riffs have their roots in spanish music, because the soloing here (certainly not only here!) has a realls strong spanish flair

  • awesome man. I wanted to get a classical to try this. love the sound.

  • @bellreaper WHAT THE FUCK MAN

  • fret buzzzzzzz

  • @danspivey91 lol youtube ninja :) haha whatever :P

  • @S1ay3R007 Calm down youtube ninja, I think this guy is an incredible guitarist and just as good as yngwie ever was, just small things irritate me
