...I believe the series was better off without voice acting.
What happened to Zero's voice? Even if it's just a Bimetal with his "soul" inside, I don't understand why they made the voice so childish.
The American translators must not have actually played the series, or have any real back gound information.
Otherwise, they might've done some things differently.
At least I can just turn the volume off during the voice acting, or better yet, skip it with start... if I can still do that

Well, I do think people give too much credit to Japanese Voice Actors since they can't tell what quality the VA actually is. IE they can't tell if anything sounds awkward, just like the Japanese can't really tell when English sounds awkward. IE I doubt many Japanese people realize that the Voice Acting in this game is bad.
But this game DOES have terrible voice acting. Really, really awful. Not saying the JP version is good since I haven't heard it, but this is bad.

@PonchoGuyEXE I'm not close to being a weeaboo but seriously the voice acting is bad, one of the best aspects, a little humor can't hurt.

Indeed, but I gotta clarify that I'm not the one playing. I merely uploaded this footage I got from some website. Notice that this was uploaded Oct. 20 while the game released on Oct. 23.
