Why the fuck is everyone saying he isn't human? He wasn't a fucking mutant alien you ignorant morons. The scary thing about Dahmer is that he was human. He was the nice guy down the street. There are many Dahmers out there and they are part of our human society. They may not be out there killing like him, but I guarantee there are a ton of ppl like him who can't stop thinking about killing. Accept it. I think under the same pyschological conditions, many of us could have turned this way.

I didn't know what a GREAT ACTOR Renner was, until I saw this movie.

Imagine yourselves - if anybody would have made YOU the proposal to interpret DAHMER - "the Milwaukee cannibal" - how would YOU do it? How would YOU present Dahmer's many faces - the "facade" and the "dark side" - the shy, troubled boy and the mature, violent beast, eating the flesh of his boyfriends, for the feeling of "having them forever with him"...

Not every actor would have THE GUTS to even take such challenge...

I loved this movie ~ I'd say it was my favourite. Renners acting is brilliant, and it was directed beautifuly, I loved the ending. I've been researching Dahmer alot, and I think they covered his phsycoligy very well, they didn't make him out to be a monster ~ Very realistic :-)
