Just a guess, but since he was introducing members in the band, I think he was going to intro the two lead trumpet players.. Craig Johnson and Roger Ingram.

@brian740 They are both some of the top lead players I have ever heard and I have heard a lot of lead players, I am curious do you play or do you just really like big band music and trumpet playing.

Both. I played trumpet back in high school and college ( mid 70's ). Maynard has always been a huge favorite of mine.. which is why so many vids. And swinging, tight big bands have been something I've enjoyed listening too as well.
