@CrashJSTest Exactly. The throttle response being touchy, is directly effected by the performance of the engine. It's by no miracle, that the go pedal makes it go. If you think it's touchy now, try taking off all the restrictive exhaust and intake components and let it breathe. Or, let the monster loose as it were.

@CrashJSTest That was my point. You said the Chevy and Ford didn't have a bigger engine than the Tundra, and if they had, they'd be competitive. The Chevy had a larger engine, and less power. The i-force V8 is incredibly touchy, and it's kept on a short leash. They have it overburden with mufflers, resonators, and catalytic converters. Imagine if you actually let the monster loose...

@CrashJSTest Wrong. Actually, the GM has a larger engine. 6.0L V8 to be precise, compared to the Tundra 5.7L. The Ford trucks were available with the 5.4L V8, and people complained about how much of a dog it was. The Tundra 4.7L V8 outperformed the Ford 5.4L. BTW, the specs provided were what was available in 2007. Toyota has been known to do a lot, with very little.
