So basically I can understand how he felt, but please treat the girl well too. She is a human being with feelings as well, not just someone you can use. I spent 2 and a half years loving a guy who never had any intention of staying with me, even if he did care about me. He lied to me and used me. And that does suck.

Please, if you are going to do this, be kind. Do not lead a girl on for years because it's convenient. Do not break her heart. And it would be nice if you would apologize someday.

Of course I have forgiven him and I understand how horrible it must have been for him to deny who he is. I am glad he can now be honest and open and not have to hide it.

This guy was not just my boyfriend, he was my best friend. I think he loved me too, even if it wasn't in that way, but as a dear friend. I don't regret the relationship because we learned a lot from each other and brought out the best in one another. We were good for one another in that way.

This is pretty personal, but I think I need to speak out about the other side of it. I dated a guy for over 2 and a half years in high school and loved him very much. We broke up after graduation, and he eventually revealed to me he is gay. I do think he knew, and used me as a cover because I never tried too hard to take things to the "next level". I do think it was unfair to me and sometimes I feel very hurt by what he did and how he couldn't jus be honest with me.
