One will need to remove a Greyhound markings, a very much registered trade mark.
Black dog works well, simply a repaint, but even that may need to be clarified.

@snuffy525 - Here in Pennsylvania, if any lights on your car aren't working (except ornamental lights like opera lights), your car automatically fails inspection (PA inspection is one of the toughest in the nation), and even if your inspection is current, some cops will pull you over as soon as they see it! They have to give you 5 days to get it fixed, though. Cops will also pull you over in a heartbeat if you have improper tint, too.

@AshburnStadium I dont know in your state, but the high center lights here are not required,, I took black electrical tape and covered mine.

I would take a 1947-=48 bus, convert it to a motorhome, and keep the same transmission (in this case 4-speed Spicer(tm) manual/4 or 6 cylinder Detroit (r) Disel or Manual/GMC (R) make. I'm a dude...:)

This is one of the old silversides that was run between 1942 - 1955

It looks like it has a high-mounted center stop light - 38 years before cars were required to have them for the 1986 model year!
I helped on the restoration(and conversion to a motorhome) of a greyhound busin the early 1990's for the retirement project of George Baker of American Aero Services of New Smyma. George is the finest man I ever had the privelidge of working for, could this have been his bus?

I'm not sure if it's the same bus but I'd bet it is. The location was in NSB and it appeared to be in a semi-permanent storage area made for its size and had generators, etc., available.

On April 6, 2011, the owners will be taking this bus on a cross country drive to California. They will be sharing their exploits on their homepage right here on YouTube. Check it out! I know I'll be!
