Why Learn German? It's a question you may be asked. For those of us with a love of German language and culture, it's an easy question to answer. But others may wonder what language they should study or why German is so relevant to their lives or their future. They may be looking for the kind of answers we can all provide.
With this in mind, we are launching a contest entitled "Why Learn German?" We are looking for any answers you and your students may come up with, sent to us in any form you like -- notes, videos, collages, essays, photos, musical presentations -- whatever fits your message and your mood.

This is a great commercial for the German language. Thank you for making this film. But still, it's quite funny to learn how many German words made it into every-day American English language... ;-)
