....No one knows the future, he, (Brian Cox) can neither be right or wrong, it's a case of 'wait & see' ....isn't it better to be prepared just in case?! Being prepared now is way too late by the way, being prepared 10 years ago, is insight!

@lancaster17 There's every reason to be rude to idiots on the internet (of which there are many), because they spread lies like wild fire. He has respect for the Mayan's because they had advanced knowledge for their time, but most rational people believe they were wrong about the world ending this year. It's just where their calendar stops.

I don't think Brian spends a lot of time on the internet, if he did he wouldn't be so surprised by the behavior of the loonies and what they believe! I love this guy, the Patrick Moore of our generation and I hope he is around as long.
