I dont get it, in the cartoon she was a bad ass, but in the movie, she was BORING!

Yes, it's more interesting when she can't just single-handedly win any fight, but at least needs teamwork to get into position.

The movies avoided Rogue entirely by always making some excuse for her to not be around for the action. Even though she was an important character in the first movie, she didn't "do" anything.

Mystique's compassion for Rogue was actually genuine, at least the original comic portrays it as qenuine.

@reeeltalk The Hollywood films messed up so much more. Storm, core member of the X-men team, played by Halle Berry no less. You'd think she'd have decent screentime, but she barely made any impact. If any at all. Cyclops, ditto. Angel was barely even in it at all. Beast? Just the third movie. It was all about Xavier, Wolverine and Jean. The others were forced into the background. Hardly appropriate for a movie about a TEAM of mutants.

Rogue is bad ass!!! I wish they would've kept her this way! She was such a strong woman in this xmen series.
